2nd Workshop of Ukrainian Synchrotron Community
2nd Workshop of Ukrainian Synchrotron Community
Launched under the initiative of the newly established Ukrainian Synchrotron Community (USynC), this second workshop represents a significant milestone in the advancement of synchrotron-based research in Ukraine. The event is strongly supported by the SOLARIS National Synchrotron Radiation Centre, the Paul Scherrer Institute (PSI), and the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, with a shared commitment to empowering Ukrainian scientists within the synchrotron domain.
Date
Wednesday, 30 September 2026
Submission
Contributions to the USynC workshop should be made via the general SPO 2026 submission form. All synchrotron-based research will be allocated to the workshop sessions by the Program Committee.
Participants will gather to explore the latest innovations in X-ray scattering, spectroscopy, and imaging techniques, with sessions designed to foster in-depth discussions on the applications of these technologies in materials science, technology, and beyond. The workshop will provide a unique platform for Ukrainian researchers to engage with leading experts, share insights, and collaborate on future projects that will strengthen Ukraine’s scientific capabilities and enhance its integration into the global research community.
This event highlights cutting-edge research and underscores the importance of international support in overcoming challenges and driving scientific innovation in Ukraine.
